Experience Required
Beginner – Intermediate
Depth Range
15-50 feet/ 4.5-15.2 meters
Highlights
Large boulders combined with moderate exposure to passing currents have provided an ideal microenvironment for numerous sea fans, anemones and other soft corals to develop here. Scuba divers will find the bottom topography diverse and generally colorful.
Location
West of San Carlos Bay, identified by the two rocky points jutting above the surface.
Notes
Originally deriving its name from the presence of three distinctive rocky outcroppings at the southernmost point, a storm knocked one into the sea, but two remain easily identifiable. Scuba divers should remain north of the point to avoid currents.
