Window Rock

Experience Required
Beginner - Intermediate

Depth Range
20-55 feet

Highlights
Archways above and below water, seahorses, eels, cup coral, sargassum fields, schooling surface fishes including barracuda and needlefish. The arch can be hard to find on scuba, but if you are lucky enough to go through it, the views can be spectacular.

Location
Southeast San Carlos Bay, close to Guaymas. South of Isla Blanca and West of the Guaymas harbor.

Notes
May be exposed to currents especially on the southern shore and surge may be rough in the shallows near the rock. A local favorite for scuba diving and snorkeling.
